Book an AppointmentView Research ↓Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun Choudhury is an Associate Professor of Orthopedics at the National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), Dhaka — Bangladesh's premier institute for orthopedic and trauma care. His clinical and academic focus is spine surgery: thoracolumbar and cervical trauma, degenerative spine disease, spinal deformity, spinal tuberculosis, and tumors of the spine.
He is an active researcher with 16 publications in international and national journals — including Cureus, the Journal of Clinical Orthopaedics and Trauma, and the Journal of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons — spanning fusion strategies for burst fractures, anterior cervical approaches, scoliosis correction, and anesthesia in lumbar surgery.
Alongside surgery and research, he trains postgraduate orthopedic surgeons at NITOR and contributes to national and international orthopedic and spine societies.
